Movers & Shakers: GameStop’s stock surges while Nike shares struggle after latest results

Here were some of the more active stocks in premarket trade Wednesday, as investors waited for the Federal Reserve to announce its latest interest rate decision.

Stock gainers:

GameStop shares GME, +4.62% jumped 43% as the gaming retailer unexpectedly posted a profit in the fourth quarter on nearly flat sales. Shares of fellow meme stocks AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. AMC, +3.28% and Bed, Bath and Beyond Inc. BBBY, +0.98% also rose.
