The world is filled with fitness-minded people, all running around and training to reach peak physical health. Since the obesity rate has skyrocketed in America, there has been a push for more activity in our daily lives, particularly with more fitness added to our schools' curriculums.
Perhaps we could all learn from our past and take another look at the JFK Challenge from the 1960s. These fitness challenges were created by the President to stoke the flames of fitness in the hearts of teens of the time, and it certainly had great results. The video below shows just how different things were over a half a century ago in the world of youth fitness.
